We are seeking an experienced and relational Christian educator to join our Primary Leadership Team as Primary Coordinator of Pastoral Care from January 2027.
About the Role
As Primary Coordinator of Pastoral Care, you will provide leadership and oversight of student wellbeing, pastoral care, behaviour support and community across Kindergarten to Year 6. Working closely with the Director of Primary, teaching staff and families, you will help ensure every student is known, valued and supported within a Christ-centred learning environment.
You will play a key role in:
- Leading and developing the Junior School pastoral care and wellbeing framework.
- Supporting staff in matters of wellbeing, behaviour management and classroom culture.
- Building strong partnerships with families.
- Coordinating wellbeing initiatives, transition programs and student leadership opportunities.
- Coaching and mentoring staff in pastoral care practices.
- Contributing to a positive, Christ-centred culture where students and staff flourish
About You
You will:
- Be a committed Christian actively involved in a local church.
- Be an experienced and highly effective primary educator.
- Demonstrate a passion for student wellbeing and pastoral care.
- Have experience leading and supporting staff.
- Be a strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Demonstrate wisdom, compassion and professionalism when supporting students and families.
- Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.

Salary and Benefits
Remuneration is in accordance with the Christians Schools NSW Teaching Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023 and includes a Position of Responsibility Level 2 allowance. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
