Role Overview:
This position involves teaching Physics within the broader Science curriculum, supporting students academically and pastorally. The successful candidate will work closely with other educators to implement effective learning strategies and contribute to the holistic development of students.
This is a 0.4FTE maternity leave placement, initially for 12 months, commencing Term 1, 2026. There is potential for the role to increase in load, possibly up to full-time, depending on the operational needs of the school and the strengths and availability of the successful candidate. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunity for ongoing employment beyond the initial placement.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Science teacher with experience or interest in teaching Physics.
- Current NESA registration and accreditation.
- Strong classroom management and pedagogical skills.
- A practicing Christian actively involved in a local church, able to model a biblical worldview in teaching.
- Committed to professional growth and Christian education.
Salary & Benefits:
Remuneration is in accordance with the Christian Schools NSW Teaching Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023, based on qualifications and experience.
