Position Overview
The Head Teacher - Diverse Learning (Secondary) is responsible for leading the LOGICS team, which focuses on Learning Enrichment and Learning Support at ICS. This is a new role and will include identifying, coordinating, and reviewing support for students with diverse learning needs, such as those requiring extension or those with disabilities and learning difficulties.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with staff to create an inclusive educational environment, ensuring that all students have access to learning that meets their individual needs while integrating a biblical worldview into all aspects of the school life.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who is committed to providing exceptional support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Relevant university/tertiary teaching qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Registration and accreditation with NESA.
- Experience in High Potential/Gifted Education preferred.
- Willingness to teach extension programs.
- A valid, paid Working with Children Check.
- A genuine Christian faith of reformed persuasion, with active commitment to a local church

They will demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have a solid understanding of disability legislation and best practices in education.
Salary & Benefits
The position is classified according to the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023. The final salary offer will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
